Before ordering your favorite ring at Kate Chareil Paris, it is essential to choose the perfect ring size to wear it !

To help you, here are our tips and methods to determine your finger size:

Standard size for women's rings is usually 54.

Tips for measuring your finger size

  • Also remember that the right hand and the left hand are different so finger sizes are different from one hand to the other.
  • The end of the day is the best time to measure the size of your fingers while they are at room temperature.
  • If your knuckle is larger than the base of your finger, measure your knuckle and the base of your finger and then choose the size in between. Your ring should be comfortable enough so that it does not fall off but slides slightly over your knuckle.

It is always beneficial to measure your finger several times during the day to be sure of your finger size.

Here are two methods to measure your fingers:

Method 1: The string and the finger

Step 1: Take a string or ribbon and wrap it around the base of your finger. To ensure a comfortable fit, we also recommend that you measure your size at your knuckle.

Step 3: Measure the resulting length in millimeters with a ruler.

Step 2: With a marker pen, mark the point where the string (or ribbon) meets.

Step 4: Choose the closest measurement from the table below to find out the size of your ring.

Method 2: The ring and the ruler

This method only works if you already have in your possession a ring that suits your finger, and especially that you are used to wearing.

Use this ring to find your size by following these steps:

Step 1: Place the ring on a flat surface.
Step 2: Measure the diameter of the inside of the ring. To do this, the ruler must join the left and right inner side of the ring. Be careful to measure the area with the largest diameter and to hold the ruler straight.
Step 3: Choose the diameter in mm from the ring size chart and determine the size of your ring.
